Hanna Palmon

Hanna grew up in Israel. After her army service she graduated from Haifa University (B.A. in Math, Summa Cum Laude) and the Technion (M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering). Later, she completed her certificate studies in choral conducting at the Levinsky music school.

Hanna has been teaching for many years in Israel: Math – in colleges and universities, and Music – at a workshop for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ cadets. Hanna translated the Michelin Guide to Spain (from English to Hebrew) for Stimatzky Publishing House, and her poetry book was published by “Eked” publishing house.

Since moving to Newton, MA four years ago, Hanna has been teaching Hebrew at ‘Rashi’ school in Newton, at the ‘Prozdor’ of the Hebrew College (after completing the intensive course of teaching Hebrew as second language – NETA - at the Hebrew College), and at the Ulpan of the Hebrew College. She continues her music studies in Boston and enjoys playing music, singing with choirs, and teaching motivated students.
